Manu Bhaker Wins Bronze Medal At 2024 Olympics: Pistol shooter Manu Bhaker won India’s first medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics as she clinched a bronze in the Women’s 10m Air Pistol shooting event on Day Two of the Paris Games.
Bhaker, who has been prolific on the world stage for the past few years came into these Olympics as one of the favorites to win a medal for India, which is exactly what she did with a bronze medal win.
After finishing third in the qualifying round yesterday, the 22-year-old came into the final with all guns blazing.
How the final of the 10m Air Pistol shooting works is that all eight finalists shoot two rounds of five shots each. From that point, one participant is eliminated after every two shots until the winner is decided.
