Lionel Messi, who is one of, if not the greatest footballers of all time, is currently captaining Argentina in the 2024 Copa America. The tournament is being played in the United States of America.
Messi, who made his professional football debut in 2003, played his first match for Barcelona’s senior team at the age of 18 in October 2004 against Espanyol.
Since then, the Argentine has scored 837 goals and assisted 374 in 1065 appearances. He has scored a goal in every 105 minutes he has played in his career.
