US Health Guru Linked With Paul Pogba Suspension: News has surfaced that the United States “health guru” and a doctor were behind the prescription of the medicines that led to Paul Pogba’s suspension earlier this year.
The French midfielder tested positive for DHEA earlier this year. This substance is banned from most professional sports because of how it increases testosterone generation in the body.
For the drug test, which he initially failed in September 2023, Pogba was handed a hefty four-year ban in February 2024. With the Juventus star now 31- years -old, the ban, if not lifted, might spell the end of Paul’s career at the highest echelon.
The suspension has been appealed in the Court of Arbitration of Sports (CAS), and the ruling is currently underway.
The UK media outlet Daily Mail has now reported that the United States-based wellness company 10X Health Systems is responsible for the pills that led to Pogba failing the drug test.
Company doctor Carrie Carda finds herself in the middle of the firestorm, as she was the one who prescribed the footballer the pills.

Also coming under fire is Gary Brecka, who fashions himself as a “health guru” and has worked with several athletes and celebrities, including the likes of Dana White and Kylie Jenner. He has also been pictured with footballers like David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Brecka allegedly consulted Pogba into taking the medicines, following with Carda prescribing them.
Before his suspension earlier this season, Pogba suffered from a number of injuries over a year back at Juventus. In the 2022–23 season, he only played 10 games for the Italian club. In the 2023–24 season, he got to play only two games before failing a drug test.
