India And Pakistan Release T20 World Cup Jerseys: Arch-rivals India and Pakistan released their jerseys for the upcoming T20 World Cup just hours apart from each other.
The 2024 T20 World Cup will kick off on June 2 in the West Indies and the US as the teams gear up for the biggest spectacle in T20 cricket.
Despite the 2024 season of the IPL still underway, the hype for the World Cup has been up a notch as almost every nation has announced their 15-man squad for the tournament.

Another way teams are gearing up for the tournament is by announcing their gear, as in their jerseys for the World Cup. Today, India Adidas officially released a video revealing India’s jersey for the 2024 World Cup.
This comes less than a day after Pakistan’s kit was released by local manufacturer CA Sports.

While Pakistan’s jersey is more or less how it has been for years, with different shades of green in a matrix-esque design, the Indian kit has seen a significant change.
The shoulder and sleeves of the Indian jerseys are now saffron, increasing the color’s presence on the Indian kit. This one bears a resemblance to the one-off kit India wore in the 2019 ODI World Cup against England.
The India jersey is also a little similar to some of the older Indian football team jerseys with saffron-colored sleeves.
Both of these kits will be on display at the World Cup when India takes on Pakistan on June 9 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in East Meadow, New York.
As for India, they will kick off their tournament against Ireland on June 5 before facing Pakistan. Their third league match will be on June 12 against their co-hosts, the US. The Men in Blue will finish off the group stage on June 15 against Canada.
