Rishabh Pants On Playing Under Rohit Sharma: Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant reveals how it is to play under the captaincy of former Mumbai Indians and current Team India captain Rohit Sharma.

Ahead of the DC vs MI contest in IPL 2024, Rishabh Pant opened up about how it is to play under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy.
“With Rohit bhai you can share a lot of innovative ideas. He is very open and proactive. He listens carefully and gives his feedback. He is very thoughtful, he does not act on instinct, he knows when to apply a specific strategy, he’s a very result-oriented person,” he said.
The wicketkeeper-batter further went on to discuss how Rohit likes to back players, saying,
“When you are experimenting, you should be open to different ideas. He understands the individuality of every player. He makes an effort to know everyone so he knows how a certain player thinks and then he acts on it. Whether it is a good or bad part about a person, he knows how to react and cope with them, which is very important. He tries to understand the exact thought processes of players and decides whether a particular thing should happen or not.”
Making a comeback following a gruesome car accident in December 2022, Rishabh Pant is back to his former self on the cricket field. Not only is he impressing with his wicketkeeping, but is also fifth in the Orange Cap race with 342 runs in nine matches with a strike rate of over 160.
As for the DC vs Mi match, both teams will be looking to win this one to keep their playoff hopes alive.
