Cristiano Ronaldo Banned For One Match: Portuguese football icon Cristiano Ronaldo has been suspended by the Saudi Arabia Football Federation (SAFF) for one match after making an obscene gesture during a game against Al Shabab.
Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr took on Al-Shabab on February 25 in a Saudi Pro League match. CR7 opened the scoring for his team with a penalty in the 21st minute. In a great back-and-forth contest, Al-Nassr came out on top 3-2 after a goal in the 86th minute by Talisca.
During the match, Al-Shabab fans were trying to rile Cristino up with “Messi” chants. Lionel Messi has been a career rival of Cristiano Ronaldo, the two being the greatest players of their generation. However, it seems that Messi’s legacy has surpassed Ronaldo’s in recent years.

This is not the first time Ronaldo has lost his cool in front of fans in Saudi Arabia. Following a 2-0 loss to AL-Hilal in April of last year, he grabbed his genitals on his way back to the dugout.
