Bully Ray Comments On Roman Reigns And The Rock: WWE Hall of Famer and former tag team champion Bully Ray (Bubba Ray Dudley) recently gave his opinion on the Wrestlemania 40 Press Conference from last week, claiming how Roman Reigns played second fiddle to The Rock.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson returned to WWE programming earlier this year and staked his claim on a WrestleMania match with the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. On the SmackDown before the Press event, Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes seemed to have given his Mania main event to The Rock.
But after a massive fan backlash resulted in the “We Want Cody” movement, the company pivoted towards making The Rock a heel in this storyline.
During the Press Conference, Reigns said he wanted to face The Rock at WrestleMania. The movie star then came out and highlighted his and Roman’s extended family before the two hugged. So when Cody Rhodes came out and insulted the two, The Rock took center stage and slapped The American Nightmare.

Bully Ray Comments On Roman Reigns And The Rock
Bully Ray, who is a broadcaster on Busted Open Radio, said on his platform that The Rock’s presence and role in the Press Conference overshadowed Roman Reigns, who is supposed to be the centerpiece of this story.
“Have you ever seen Roman Reigns look like a co-star in the last three years? Did you see him look like a co-star at that press conference? Rock knows how to command the spotlight,” Bully explained. “He made every other man on stage look like boys because of his stature and because he knows how to stand and command a spotlight. I’ve never seen Roman look so secondary in my life,” said Bully
WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H announced on last week’s SmackDown that the main event of WrestleMania 40, which will take place on April 6 and 7 in the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, will be main evented by Roman Reigns defending his championship against Cody Rhodes.
