Deepak Chahar Shares Impressive Workout Video: Deepak Chahar has had a stop-start career in international cricket. He has been impressive for the most part, whether he is playing for the national side or in the IPL for Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Currently out of team India, the pacer is looking to make his way back into the side. He has now posted his impressive workout regimen on social media.
Chahar struggled with injuries throughout 2023. He first missed the first few matches of IPL 2023 due to a hamstring injury. He then missed the entire IPL season due to a back injury.
He then looked to make his way into the squad for the World Cup but was not included. He last represented India in a T20I against Australia on December 1, 2023, where he scalped two wickets but conceded 44 runs. Following this match, he withdrew himself from the then-upcoming South Africa tour due to his father’s health issues.

The Rajasthan-based right arm quick is now finding his way back to the national side. He recently took to Instagram to share a video of him participating in various intense workouts. He also added an inspirational quote from a recent Bollywood movie in the caption, which read – “HAAR NAHI MANUGA RAAR NAYI THANUGA.”

Deepak Chahar will be eyeing IPL 2024 as a crucial tournament for him and his career. In IPL 2023, Deepak played 10 matches, taking 13 wickets with an economy of 8.74 and an average of 22.85. His career average and economy in the tournament have been 28.04 and 7.93 respectively.
IPL 2024 will be a way for the 31-year-old to make his way back into the national side. A stellar performance for CSK this year might open doors for Chahar’s selection into the Indian team for the 2024 T20 World Cup in June-July.
