Jasprit Bumrah Crossed 150 Wickets-Reaction: If Day 1 of the second Test match between India and England belonged to Yashasvi Jaiswal, Day 2 belonged to Jasprit Bumrah who took 6 wickets and played a massive role in India being able to take a 143-run lead in the 1st inning. Bumrah has now become the fastest Indian pacer to take 150 Test wickets.
Day 2 of the ongoing Test match belonged to India. While Jaiswal made his maiden Test 200, Jasprit Bumrah took his 10th fifer in Test cricket, scalping six English wickets and looking good doing it.
Jasprit broke the back of England’s abetting when it looked like they could take over the game. His first wicket was Ollie Pope, who fell victim to a pitch-perfect yorker and was bowled for his troubles.
Bumrah also took the wickets of Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow, Ben Stokes, Tom Hartley, and James Anderson, with captain Stokes being bowled out just like in the first match.

When he took his fourth wicket of the innings, the eye-catching wicket of Ben Stokes, Jasprit Bumrah reached the milestone of 150 wickets in Test cricket. Not only that, he became the fastest Indian pacer to reach the milestone.
Bumrah took 34 matches and 6781 balls to reach 150 Test wickets. The second Indian pacer on the list is Kapil Dev, who took 39 Tests to reach the milestone.
The Mumbai Indians bowler also became the third fastest Indian to 150 wickets after Ravichandran Ashwin (29) and Ravindra Jadeja (32).
