Cristiano Ronaldo Injured?: The football world was about to witness the ultimate showdown between two of the greatest rivals in the history of the game when Al-Nassr hosts Inter Miami on Thursday, February 2. But it seems like the hope may have gotten crushed into bits as one of them, Cristiano Ronaldo, is reportedly injured and won’t be making it onto the field tonight, which leaves the much-anticipated soccer game with only one GOAT from the two, i.e., Lionel Messi.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Cristiano Ronaldo had suffered a muscle injury, and the star was expected to recover before the mega showdown. But Al-Nassr manager Luis Castro put the speculations to bed by saying the Portuguese wouldn’t be playing tonight.
“Cristiano is in the final stage of his recuperation before re-joining the team. We expect that in the next few days, he will start working with the team. So, obviously, it will mean he is absent for the game (against Inter Miami),” Castro delivered to the media.
Cristiano Ronaldo Injured: Al-Nassr Cancelled China Tour
Al-Nassr also canceled their China tour due to Ronaldo’s injury. Though the player is expected to join the team in a few days, it will be too late for the China fixture.
