Yuzvendra Chahal Reunites With Ravindra Jadeja: Indian wrist-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal recently took to social media to share a picture of himself on January 16 with all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja as both of them hit the gym at the National Cricket Academy (NCA).

The image Chahal posted on Instagram was of him along with Jadeja from inside a gym at NCA. Both of them can be seen smiling with their thumbs up. Chahal also wrote a cheeky caption under his post, calling Chennai Super Kings (CSK) all-rounder a ‘Master of Swords’, eluding to his iconic sword celebration with the bat.
“Gym session with the Master of Swords,” wrote Chahal under his post.
While ‘Jaddu’ has been part of India’s limited overs setup recently, Chahal has been out of the playing XI for some time now. While both of them were not picked for the ongoing three-match T20I series against Afghanistan, Jadeja was a crucial part of India’s 2023 World Cup side and also recently played in the T20I series against South Africa, bagging two wickets in two matches.
On the other hand, Yuzi Chahal last donned the Indian jersey in August 2023, against West Indies. He has also not played any ODIs in nearly a year, having been replaced by Kuldeep Yadav in both formats.
Jadeja will represent India next in the five-match Test series against England, for which he has been named in the squad for the first two matches, while there is no India call-up in sight for Chahal.
However, Yuzvendra Chahal recently represented Haryana in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and took 18 wickets in 8 matches. He will now look to light up IPL 2024 for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) and find a way back into the national team ahead of the 2024 T20 World Cup.
