2019 Player’s Championship (Final Round)
In what would turn out to be his first career win in the Player’s Championship tournament, Rory McIlroy started the final round four strokes behind Jim Furyk, but the 34-year-old quickly made up that deficit by scoring four birdies in the first six holes.
With Furyk on his heels for the rest of the round, McIlroy finished the round with a score of 70, finishing just one shot ahead of his nearest rival and taking the title home.

2021 Wells Fargo Championship (Final Round)
At this point in his career, Rory McIlroy had not won a PGA Tour tournament in two years. He did have a shot at winning with him being only two points behind leader Keith Mitchell. McIlroy would go on to finish that round with an impressive score of 68, a solid three under par.
This would be enough for him to finish just a stroke ahead of the second-place golfer, winning his first PGA Tour trophy in two years.

2012 PGA Championship (Final Round)
Already a major champion in his young career and the World No.1 at this point, Rory McIlroy was three shots ahead going into the fourth and final round at the 2012 PGA Championship. Having already scored 67 twice on a 72-par course, Rory scored a Championship-best 66 with six birdies to end at 12 under par and win his second major championship.

2010 Open Championship (First Round)
A 21 fresh-faced Rory McIlroy participated in his fourth Open Championship in 2010. While his star was on the rise, the Northern Irish was not a favourite to win his first championship that day.
In the first round, with a par of 72, Rory stunned the competition with a staggering 63. This is the joint second-best score in a round in a major championship and McIlroy’s finest statistical round in his career even today. He did go on to ruin his title chances with a dismal 80 (8 above par) in the second round, ultimately finishing joint third in the tournament.

2011 US Open (First Round)
With a win in a PGA Tour tournament under his belt, Rory McIlroy entered the 2011 US Open still looking for his first major championship and set the bar in the first round itself by scoring 65 in a 21-par course.
