Zhendong won a gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in Team competition, while winning a silver in Men’s Singles. Also the World No.1 in Men’s Dobles Individual ranking, Zhendong has a staggering eight gold medals at the World Championship, along with two silvers and two bronzes.
Fan also has seven golds at the ITTF World Cup, and has won countless other regional and world-level tournaments.

Women’s Singles – Sun Yingsha (China)
At just 22 years old, China’s Sun Yingsha has been the No.1 Women’s Singles Table Tennis player in the world for over a year. Having won several Asian and World tournaments, Sun’s crowning achievement was winning the Olympic gold in the Table Tennis Team event for her country. She also scored a silver in Women’s Singles at the Tokyo Olympics.
Apart from that, Sun is the current Asian Games Champion in mixed doubles and team events, a three-time Asian Champion, and a six-time World Champion. Sun Yingsha is also the No.1 ranked Women’s Doubles Individual Table Tennis player in the World.

Men’s Doubles – Jang Woojin and Lim Jonghoon (South Korea)
The South Korean duo of 28-year-old Jang Woojin and 26-year-old Lim Jonghoon are still on the rise in the world of Men’s Doubles Table Tennis, despite being the No.1 ranked pair in the World.
The two have finished second in the last two World Championships, taking home silver medals. Apart from a few silver and bronze medals in Men’s Doubles at the Asian Championships, the two are yet to win big at the World stage and are favourite to pick up Olympic gold in 2023.

Women’s Doubles – Jeon Ji-hee and Shin Yu-bin (South Korea)
A combination of youth and experience – while Shin Yu-bin is just 19 years old and a rising star in the world of Table Tennis, Jeon Ji-hee is an experienced player at the age of 30. The two partnered up not very long ago.
In the two’s first major tournament playing together in Women’s Doubles, the two won gold at the 2021 Doha Asian Championships. The World No.9 ranked singles star Yu-bin also scored a silver in singles competition in that competition.

Mixed Doubles – Wang Chuqin and Sun Yingsha (China)
An elite mixed doubles pair. While Sun Yingsha is the World No.1 Women’s Singles Table Tennis player, 23-year-old Wang Chuqin is, apart from No.1 in Mixed Doubles, also World No.2 in Men’s Doubles along with Fan Zhendong.
Together, Sun and Wang have won two World Championships together. The pair also have a silver in the Asian Championships together and a gold at the Asian Games. The two also have their exploits with different Doubles partners, from Olympic golds to more World Championship glory.
