The Trent Rockets team, and The Hundred competition as a whole, has been given a major dent as superstar Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan, who is a serial T20 match-winner, has pulled out of the tournament due to an undisclosed injury.
Rashid was signed to play the first three matches for Trent Rockets before leaving for the ODI series against Pakistan. He recently played in the final of the Major League Cricket, where he helped MI New York win the tournament. However, he has opted out of his commitment with the Rockets for this season. Rockets have roped in Imad Wasim for the first three matches in the absence of Rashid Khan.
