Fans Hilarious reaction following the RCB exit: Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) lousy luck in the IPL continues as they got knocked out of the TATA IPL 2023 season after a heartbreaking loss to the Gujarat Titans (GT). Fans all over the country were flabbergasted and took over Twitter with fans hilarious reaction following the RCB exit.
Coming into the match, a win was mandatory for Bangalore to qualify for the playoffs. They would have reached the top four with a better net run rate. It had been expected that the Gujarat Titans would take this match lightly and rest their leading players, as the table leaders have already qualified for the playoffs. But things didn’t go as expected for the home fans in Bangalore.
Earlier, GT won the toss and sent Bangalore to bat first. Virat Kohli’s record-breaking hundred gave Bangalore a very good score, as they managed to end their innings at 197/5 in 20 overs. Kohli, with this century, became the player who has scored the most IPL centuries so far, bagging the 7th ton and breaking the former Bangalore star Chris Gayle’s record of 6 centuries.
But the bowling department failed to capitalize on it as always, as Shubman Gill scored another stunning IPL ton to take GT to victory. Twitter was loaded with fans hilarious reaction following the RCB exit.
One fan tweeted, “Just gotta cry all day, say ‘Ambani ka paisa’ and move on”, pointing out that Bangalore’s loss paved the way for Mukesh Ambani’s Mumbai Indians to make the playoffs. If RCB had lost, Mumbai would have been out of the tournament, as they have a lower NRR in comparison with Bangalore. Apart from Ambani, Gautam Gambhir and Naveen were also in the memes, as they had a back-and-forth argument with Kohli earlier in the tournament. A lot of fans also tweeted hurtfully, as they were expecting Kohli and Bangalore to win the IPL at least once.
