Yuzendra Chahal Meets Comedian Anurag Bassi: Rajasthan Royals’ star-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal recently linked up with popular comedian Anuhav Singh Bassi.
Chahal has been a crucial piece in RR’s recent success. This season, he has taken 13 wickets in nine matches and is in the race for the Purple Cap.
The Royals will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in their next match on the latter’s home ground. So naturally, the team has already arrived in Hyderabad.
Yuzendra Chahal Meets Comedian Anurag Bassi
Yuzu Chahal recently took to Instagram to share pictures of his recent meeting in Hyderabad, with the two meeting in the city’s Trident Hotel. In the caption, Chahal used the stand-up comedian’s name in a clever way, writing,
“Bassi bhai mile aur Anubhav acha na ho – koi sense hai iss baat ka?”
As stated above, the 33-year-old has taken 13 wickets this season and is the highest wicket-taker for his team.
His wickets have played a huge part in RR’s dominant IPL 2024 season. Having played nine matches, the team has won eight of them and has 16 points in the league table. The Royals have virtually qualified for the playoffs, with five matches remaining. He also became the first bowler in IPL history to take 200 wickets this season.
Out of the India team for over a year now, Chahal has been picked in the 15-man India squad for the upcoming 2024 T20 World Cup. He, along with Kuldeep Yadav, will be the only specialist spinner in the team.
RR will take on SRH in their next match in Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi Stadium on May 2.
