Cody Rhodes started the show, and as he made his entrance and came out of the ring. He was interrupted by Paul Heyman, Bronson Reed, and Bron Breakker. Randy Orton also came out to stand by the side of his friend, Cody Rhodes. Paul Heyman said that they weren’t here to talk to Rhodes, but wanted to talk to Orton. He said that tonight, Breakker and Reed are going to destroy them, and when you lose tonight, you both are going to slowly turn on each other.
WWE SmackDown Highlights: Sami Zayn’s United States Championship Open Challenge
On this week’s SmackDown episode, Carmelo Hayes came out to answer the open challenge from Sami Zayn for his United States Championship, but as Hayes was talking, the Miz attacked him and took him out. After that, Aleister Black came out and accepted the challenge. The match went on for 20+ minutes, and received multiple “This is Awesome” chants from the audience. At the end of the match, with the help of a distraction from Damian Priest, Zayn delivered a blue thunder bomb to Black and secured the victory via pinfall. After the match, Damian Priest attacked Aleister Black.
WWE SmackDown Highlights: Sol Ruca vs The Secret Service
In a tag team match, we saw Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre vs Zaria and the Women’s North American Champion, Sol Ruca. The match ended quickly as Sol Ruca delivered her Sol Snatcher on Chelsea Green to secure the victory for her team via pinfall.
WWE SmackDown Highlights: Tiffany Stratton and Stephanie Vaquer
In this episode of SmackDown, it was already announced that Stephanie Vaquer and Tiffany Stratton will sign their contract for their upcoming Crown Jewel Championship. Both signed the contract and made the match official for the upcoming premium live event, Crown Jewel.
As Tiffany Stratton was leaving, she was attacked by the Women’s United States Champion, Giulia, and her partner, Kiana James. After attacking Stratton, James said that Vaquer should join their group, and they would help her to win the Crown Jewel Championship. As they were talking, Stratton got back in the ring and attacked Kiana James, and Vaquer attacked Giulia.
WWE SmackDown Highlights: Je’Von Evans and Rey Fenix vs Los Garza
Je’Von Evans and Rey Fenix faced Los Garza in a tag team match on this episode of SmackDown. This match was one of the best matches of the entire night. The match went on 20+ minutes, and at the end of the match, Rey Fenix delivered an MMB to Humberto Carrillo to secure a victory for his team via pinfall.

In the main event of this week’s SmackDown, Cody Rhodes & Randy Orton faced the members of the Vision group, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. The match match on for 15+ minutes, and received chants like “Holy Sh*t” from the audience. At the end of the match, Seth Rollins distracted Randy Orton, and with that, Bronson Reed delivered a Tsunami to Randy Orton and secured the win for his team via pinfall. After the match, Seth Rollins came back to attack Cody Rhodes, but he failed, and Cody Rhodes delivered a Cross Rhodes to Seth Rollins, and with that, this episode of SmackDown went off the air.
