Harmanpreet Kaur had suffered an injury in the last match, and her availability for today’s game had been skeptical. But Mandhana revealed the good news that Harman is completely fit to play
“Harman is doing fine and she will be available for the match against Sri Lanka,” Mandhana said.
Mandhana couldn’t give a verdict if Pooja Vastrakar, who is also injured, will be available against Lanka.
“The medical team is still working on Pooja. So, any update will be possible on the match day against Sri Lanka. I can’t confirm anything at the moment.” she added.
After a defeat to New Zealand in the first match, the Women in Blue had a strong comeback in the second match against Pakistan by defeating them by a whopping 6 wickets.
“The conditions are different over here. Our main job was to register our first win in the tournament. We have to make a balance.” Mandhana added.
