Who won the most Grand Slams in history?: Winning a Grand Slam is regarded as one of the factors that scale a tennis player’s greatness. And the person who wins it the most naturally comes to the GOAT conversation because it is not a cakewalk in tennis. Only players who are talented, determined, and consistent throughout can achieve Grand Slams. Today we are going to figure out who the players are who took home the most Grand Slams.
What are Grand Slams?
A Grand Slam is winning all four major tournaments in a year. If a player wins all four majors consecutively but not within a calendar year, they would achieve a non-calendar-year Grand Slam. Winning the four majors at any point in their careers is called ‘career Grand Slams’.
The four Grand Slam tournaments are:
- Australian Open (in January)
- French Open (in late May to early June)
- Wimbledon (late June to early July)
- US Open (August to early September)

Federer retired in September 2022, and the legend had 20 Grand Slams on his name.
