Virat Kohli Surpasses a Record of Rahul Dravid: Virat Kohli has a habit of breaking and smashing records, something he has been doing for over a decade now. He surpassed current Indian head coach Rahul Dravid to add his name to the history books yet another time.
In the final leg of India’s tour to South Africa, the two nations are competing in a two-match Test series. Day 1 saw the Indan batting order struggle in front of the Proteas bowling attack on the challenging conditions of the Centurion Park. On Day 2, India was bowled out for 245, with KL Rahul scoring a century and Kagiso Rabada taking five wickets.

Virat Kohli Surpasses a Record of Rahul Dravid
Virat Kohl was the second-highest scorer in the 1st innings, scoring a fighting 38 before being caught out by Rabada. These 38 runs helped Kohli break an impressive record.
Before this match, Rahul Dravid was India’s third-highest run-scorer against South Africa in Test matches with 1252 runs and Kohli 16 runs behind him. Virat, playing his 15th Test match against the Proteas, went past Dravid in the first innings and now has 1274 runs against this opposition.
If he manages to score another 32 runs in the second innings, Kohli will surpass Virender Sehwag on 1306 runs to go second on the list. The first name on the list, unsurprisingly, is Sachin Tendulkar, who has 1741 runs against South Africa in 25 Test matches.
While Tendulkar has the highest runs for any Indian against the Men in Green, his average is far below against this opposition compared to Kohli. Sachin has an average of 42.46 against South Africa, while Virat has an average of 55.39.
