Virat Kohli And Anushka Sharma React To RCB Win: Royal Challengers Bengaluru thumped the Delhi Capitals last night. The reactions of star player Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma following the win are now going viral.
RCB took on DC in Match 62 of IPL 2024 in Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The away side won the toss and chose to bowl first.
Kohli got RCB off to a good start, but captain Faf du Plessis lost his wicket in the third over, and Kohli followed suit in the very next over. But from this point on, Rajat Patidar and Will Jacks took charge. The two forged an 88-run partnership in which Jacks scored 41 off 29, while Patidar scored yet another 50 in IPL 2024 as he scored 52 in 32.
Despite the team collapsing in the final few overs, the team from Bengaluru reached 187 runs, maybe 20 runs short of where they would have liked.
Nonetheless, RCB had an excellent start to their bowling. DC lost David Warner and Achishek Porel in just 13 deliveries. But the second ball of the third over is where they fell off track. Shai Hope played his first ball straight—too straight. The ball hit bowler Yash Dayal’s hand and struck the wicket at the non-striker’s end. Thus, the dangerous Jake Fraser-McGurk ran out.
The Capitals never truly looked in the game from that point. Hope scored a slow 29 in 23 balls. While captain Axar Patel (Rishabh Pant did not play this match) scored a decent 39-ball 57, DC lost all their wickets for 140, losing the match by 47 runs.

As Yash Dayal took the final wicket of the game, the camera focused on Anushka Sharma, who looked incredibly relieved following RCB’s win. Virat’s reaction was much more boisterous, clenching his fist as his team won.
RCB has now won five games in a row as they are undergoing an incredible turnaround this season. After losing seven out of their first eight games in 2024, the Royal Challengers are now dark horses for playoff qualification.
With 12 points in 13 games, RCB will face the Chennai Super Kings in their last match of the league stage in Bengaluru on May 18.
