Trent Alexander Arnold Tributes Jurgen Klopp: Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold paid a touching tribute to the club’s outgoing manager, Jurgen Klopp, and broke down while mentioning how the German changed his life.
After a successful stint with Borussia Dortmund, Klopp was appointed as the Reds manager in October 2015. Since then, he brought Liverpool back to the party as one of the best teams in the country. Not only did he win a Champions League during his stint on top of making another final, but he also won the side their first league title in the Premier League era in 2020.
Klopp and Alexander-Arnold shared a special bong. Not only did the iconic German manager give the young Englishman his debut at the age of 18 back in 2016, but Trent also became one of the best and most attack-minded right-backs in the world.

Under Jurgen Klopp, the now-25-year-old has represented Liverpool 310 times across all competitions and has made 100 goal contributions (19 goals, 81 assists) in that time.
Last year, Klopp announced that this would be his final season at Liverpool. Despite that, the Reds failed to win any major trophy this season (besides the EFL Cup).
Jurgen managed his last game for Liverpool yesterday, a 2-0 win over the Wolves. Following the win, eyes were moist throughout the stadium as the team and its fans said farewell to their greatest manager this millennium.
Trent Alexander Arnold Tributes Jurgen Klopp
When Trent was questioned about what Klopp meant to him, the English player broke down and said this:
“He’s changed my lie and everyone around me—my whole family. This was all possible (because) of him, so I can never say thank you enough for that. He made my dreams come true. There’s a big thank you to him for that.”
When the interviewer pointed out that Trent was getting emotional while talking about Jurgen Klopp, the right-back said,
“I’m never emotional, honestly! Ask my family, ask anyone; I’m not emotional. I can’t remember the last time I cried. No…no…no… I haven’t cried in years. So, this is very strange to me, so it just shows how much he means to me and the club.”
Jurgen Klopp will depart Liverpool as the club’s greatest manager of the last few decades. It now remains to be seen where he ends up next.
