Travis Head Scored 150 In 3rd Test vs India: Australian Cricket Team batter Travis Head is once again being a massive headache for the Indian Cricket Team. The Adelaide native has scored 150 in the first inning of the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against India.
Today was Day Two of the third of five Australia Vs India Test Matches, being played at The Gabba in Brisbane. Almost the entirety of Day One was washed away due to rain. India won the toss and decided to bowl first. In the 13.2 overs played on the first day, the Aussies scored 28 runs.

Soon after the play of Day Two started, both openers, Usman Khawaja and Nathan McSweeney, lost their wickets to Jasprit Bumrah. After a few more overs, Marnus Labuschagne went back to the pavilion as the team score was 75/3.
As Travis Head scored 150 in 3rd test vs India, It was at this point that the motion of play started shifting towards Australia. Steve Smith and Travis Head started scoring quick runs. While Smith, who has been out of form in Test cricket this entire year, was playing cautiously, Head maintained a quick strike rate throughout.
Head has already had a successful Border-Gavaskar Trophy. In the second match at his home ground of the Adelaide Oval, he scored 140 runs in the first inning and was the difference between India and Australia as the latter won the match by 10 wickets.
So, after scoring a massive ton in the last match, Travis came into this match like he brought all the form and concentration from that inning to this one. Despite coming on to bat much later than Smith, the two men reached their 50 around the same time.

And when it came time to reach three figures, Head reached there way before Steve Smith. Batting at almost a run-a-ball in Test cricket while scoring a hundred in two matches in a row is almost unheard of. But seeing how Travis Head finds another level of form against India, it is hardly the most surprising thing.
The moustached batter then one-upped his last inning and reached the 150-run mark, getting out soon after at 152 in 160 deliveries, becoming Jasprit Bumrah’s fifth wicket of the day.
With him and Smith scoring 100s today, Australia ended the day at 405/7, with Alex Carey and Mitchell Marsh batting at 45 and seven, respectively. Travis Head and Steve Smith’s batting has made it almost impossible for the Men in Blue to win this India vs Australia Test match.
