5) Aditi Ashok
Having only turned professional in 2016, the 25-year-old is the most prolific golfer in India at the moment.
Currently part of the Ladies European Tour (LET) and the LPGA Tour, Ashok is currently the 46th-ranked female golf player in the world.
Jyoti was named LET’s Rookie of the Year the year she turned pro in 2016. She also finished fourth in the Women’s Individual Stroke Play event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics with a score of 269 and 15-under par. She also has four wins in the Ladies European Tour.

4) Jyoti Randhawa
Son of a retired army general. Jyoti Randhawa is one of the most decorated Indian golfers in the history of the game.
With a staggering 23 career wins, Jyoti is one of the most prolific golfers on the Asian Tour, having won on the tour 8 times. He is also a former winner of the Hero Honda Open (now the Indian Open)
Randhawa was also the Asian PGA Tour Player’s Player of the Year in 2002.

3) Arjun Atwal
A professional since 1995 and a contemporary of Jyoti Randhawa, Arjun Atwal is the first Indian to become a member of and win a tournament on the prestigious PGA Tour.
His illustrious career has also seen him earn membership to the European Tour and win three tournaments there. His 8 wins on the Asian tour, which includes a win at the Hero Honda Masters in India, is joint sixth-highest for the tour.
With a career-high rank of 106, Arjun Atwal has 13 career tournament wins. He was also the Asian PGA Tour Player’s Player of the Year in 2003

2) Jeev Milkha Singh
Like his father, the great Milkha Singh, Jeev Milkha Singh has also done wonders for their sport in India. The first Indian to break into the top 100 rankings back in 2006, Jeev has had an excellent 30-year career in the sport.
Apart from his 20 career win, which includes six in the Asian Tour and four in the European Tour, Singh also has the second most appearances by an Indian in the Major tournaments with 14. With his tied-eighth finish in the 2009 PGA Championship being the best by any Indian in the tournament.
The most popular golfer in India for years, Jeev Milkha Singh not only brought glory to his country with success in an otherwise looked-over sport, but he also elevated the sport’s popularity in India.

1) Anirban Lahiri
In Indian golfers ranking, Anirban Lahiri is arguably the greatest Indian golfer of all time. He turned pro back in 2007. With an astounding 33 career wins, which includes 7 on the Asian Tour and 2 on the European Tour, he is currently only one of two Indians on the Saudi Public Investment Fund-owned LIV Golf.
He has also made 18 appearances at the Majors, with his tied 5th finish in the 2016 Masters being the highest for an Indian ever at the Majors.
With a career-high rank of 33, Anirban Lahiri is not only a great Indian golfer but is also a very good one on the international level.
