1. Anirban Lahiri
Anirban Lahiri is arguably the greatest Indian golfer of all time. Not only that, he is also considered one of the finest golfers of his generation outright. Having turned professional in 2007, Lahiri has a solid 18 career wins under his belt. Which includes seven on the Asian Tour and two on the European Tour.
Anirban has reached as high as 33rd in the Men’s Golf rankings and is one of only two Indian golfers part of the Saudi-owned LIV Golf.
Apart from these achievements, Anirban Lahiri also has the most major appearances by an Indian with 18. His T5 finish in the 2015 PGA Championship is also the highest finish by an Indian at a major.

2. Jeev Milkha Singh
Jeev Milkha Singh might be the most well-known Indian golfer ever. Son of the legendary Sprinter Milkha Singh, Jeev Milkha carved out his own legacy in a sport mostly uncharted by Indian athletes.
Singh turned pro in 1993 and had a whopping 20 career wins in his career, these include four on the European tour and six on the Asian Tour. Jeev was also a Padma Shri recipient.

3. Arjun Atwal
Arjun Atwal, along with Jeev Milkha Singh, brought golf to the forefront in India in the 90s and the 2000s. Atwal turned professional in 1995 and became the first Indian to win a tournament on the PGA Tour.
An eight-time winner on the Asian Tour, Arjun has had 13 tournament wins in his career. Arjun Atwal is still a member of the PGA and the Asian Tour at the age of 50.

4. Gaganjeet Bhullar
Gaganjeet Bhullar is one of the most prolific Indian golfer. With 22 tournament wins in his career, Gaganjeet is right up in the discussion of the best Indian golfers in the 21st century.
Having turned pro in 2006, Bhullar has the third most wins on the Asian Tour with 10. He also has one win on the European Tour and the PGA Tour of Australasia. Having peaked with a ranking of 85 in 2013, Bhullar has emerged as a constant winner on multiple tours.

5. Jyoti Randhawa
Jyoti Randhawa is yet another Indian golf icon from the 1990s. Having turned pro in 1994, Jyoti has won 23 tournaments in his career.
An eight-time winner on the Asian Tour and the tour’s Player of the Year in 2002, Randhawa is also a former winner of the Hero Honda Open.

6. Aditi Ashok
Only 25 years old, Aditi Ashok is the flagbearer of India’s bright future in golf. Since turning pro in 2016, Ashok has been a part of the Ladies European Tour (LET) and the LPGA, where she has amassed a total of six wins. She was also the LET Rookie of the Year in 2016.
Aditi also finished fourth in the Women’s Individual Stroke Play event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where she finished 15-under par after four rounds. She also became the first female Indian golfer to enter the top 50 in the rankings.

7. Shubhshankar Sharma
One of India’s brightest golf prospects, Shubhshankar Sharma has been going strength to strength since turning pro in 2013. A tournament winner on the Asian and the European Tour, Sharma has reached as high as 64th in the rankings.
Shubhshankar also won the European Tour and Asian Tour Rookie of the Year back in 2018.

8. Shiv Kapur
Shiv Kapur represented India in golf across the world. Even before turning pro in 2004, Kapur had won gold in the 2002 Asian Games. Since then, he has been a regular on the Asian tour, the Challenge Tour, and the Professional Tour of India, where he amassed eight career wins.

9. Diksha Dagar
At just 22 years of age, Diksha Dagar is a part of the next generation of Indian golfers who will take the game forward in the country. Having turned pro in 2019, she became only the second Indian female golfer after Aditi Ashok to win a tournament on the Ladies European Tour.

10. Rashid Khan
