Toni Kroos Is Hilarious On Social Media: Toni Kroos announced his retirement from football earlier this week. The legendary German midfielder will step away from the game following the 2024 UEFA Euros this summer in his home country.
In honor of arguably the greatest midfielder of this generation, we remember how funny he can be. On social media, Kroos regularly pulls the legs of his teammates and fans in the most comedic way.
433 on Instagram recently compiled some of Toni’s best jabs at his teammates. These go from making fun of teammates’ fashion to laughing at themselves in the face of fan criticism.
Toni Kroos Is Hilarious On Social Media
The first image on the post is a photo of Kroos, Casemiro, and Luka Modric posing with the UEFA Champions League trophy back in 2022. A fan commented on the image by saying that Kroos is an overrated player, to which the German replied, “Yes, but don’t tell anyone.”
The next one shows David Alaba showing off his fit, with Toni making fun of his shoes by saying, “Give my grandpa his shoes back.”
He even made fun of Jude Bellingham’s fashion sense, noting that he should be participating in Paris Fashion Week.
The next one shows how Toni Kroos is not afraid of making fun of his teammates in any way. While he laughed at Bellingham and Alaba’s fashion sense, he took it a step further with Lucas Vasquez.
When the Spaniard posted a picture reading with his son with the caption “Reading together,” Kroos made fun of Vasquez’s intelligence by saying, “You more than him.”
In fact, Lucas Vasquez and Toni Kroos go back and forth a lot on social media. When the German took to social media, making fun of the fact that he was trending after his retirement announcement, Lucas had an absurdly funny two-word response.
Coming back to the Instagram post, when Luka Modric posted a picture of him announcing the release of his autobiography, Kroos made fun of his glasses.
Toni Kroos has been at Real Madrid for 10 seasons. Having won four Champions Leagues with them, he will have a chance to win his fifth with the club in his last game with them as Real Madrid takes on Borussia Dortmund in the 2023–24 UCL final on June 2 (IST).
His retirement from football will come after Germany’s campaign at the 2024 Euros, with Kroos looking to win his first continental championship, as he already has a World Cup under his belt from 2014.
