Tim Seifert Hits Four 6s In An Over Vs Pakistan: New Zealand batter Tim Seifert has smashed four sixes in a single over by Pakistan ace-pacer Shaheen Afridi in the second T20I between the two teams as the Kiwis clinch victory in this game.
The second of five New Zealand Vs Pakistan T20I matches was played in Dunedin’s University Oval and saw the hosts win the toss and decide to bowl first. In a match that was affected by rain and was shortened to 15 overs per side, the Men in Green stumbled and clawed their way to 135/9.
Captain Salman Ali Agha scored a fine 46 off 28, Shadab Khan scored 26 off 14, and Shaheen Afridi scored 22 off 14, helping their team propel to a respectable total.

However, the Black Caps were not going to respect that total for too long. The opening partnership of Tim Seifert and Finn Allen itself played a major role in shifting the scales towards this side. The two openers betted together for 28 deliveries and scored 66 runs together.
While in this opening partnership, Seifert performed what was the highlight of the game. The third over of the inning was bowled by Pakistani pacer Shaheen Afridi, the Kiwi batter ended up hittin four sixes in a single over, scoring 26 runs total in a single over.

By the time Seifert had gotten out in the fifth over, he had scored 45 runs in 22 deliveries. And while there was a collapse after the two openers were dismissed, they got to the finish line as soon as the 14th over started.
While the likes of Ish Sodhi (2/17), Jacob Duffy (2/20), and Ben Sears (2/23) played a big role in restricting Pakistan to a modest total and help New Zealand win the match, TIm Seifert’s explosive inning at the start of the Kiwi inning was enough for him to be named the Player of the Match.
As for the layout of this series, the New Zealand Cricket Team are now 2-0 up in a fie T20I series against Pakistan. The next match will be played on Friday, March 21, in Auckland’s Eden Park.
