The Rock Beats Down Cody Rhodes Again: It was a blockbuster ending to this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW as The Rock laid a beatdown on Cody Rhodes for a second week in a row.
The main event of the April 1 edition of RAW was main-evented by the World Heavyweight Champion taking on Solo Sikoa in a ‘Bloodline Rules” match, which was essentially a no-disqualification match.
As the contest reached its crescendo, The Bloodline’s Jimmy Uso came out to attack Seth. The World Champion was supported by Jimmy’s twin and WrestleMania opponent, Jey Uso.

But as the two twins brawled to the backstage area, The Rock appeared as the ‘Final Boss’ and approached the ring to attack Rollins.
But it seemed that the babyfaces laid a trap as Cody Rhodes then came out and started attacking the former 8-time World Champion.

The Rock, in one of the most brutal segments in recent memory, beat Rhodes down for over 10 minutes outside the arena in the rain last week. He dropped swears and beat the two-time Royal Rumble winner with a weight belt.
This week, when Cody almost exacted revenge by driving The Rock through the announce table, Roman Reigns appeared out of nowhere. This was surprising because The Tribal Chief had left the arena earlier in the day only to return now.
Roman and The Rock, along with Solo Sikoa then commenced another beatdown on Seth and Cody, which involved a Samoan Spike and a Spear. In the closing moments of the episode, Rock and Reigns beat down Rollins and Rhodes with the latter’s signature weight belt.
Cody Rhodes will team up with Seth Rollins to take on Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and The Rock in the main event of Night One of WrestleMania 40 later this week on Saturday, April 6.
If the heels win that match, the Night Two main event between Cody and Roman for the latter’ Championship will be a “Bloodline Rules” match. Seth Rollins will too defend his title on Night Two, Sunday, April 7, against the Elimination Chamber winner Drew McIntyre.
