The Rock And John Cena Return On Monday Night RAW: This week’s episode of Monday Night RAW was a big one. Taking place in the sold-out Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, this was the first episode of the 32-year-old flagship weekly episodic show on Netflix.
Tonight’s episode was being promoted like a premium live event. And it sure felt like one with all the matches, the returns, the appearances, and the vibes around the whole show. After Triple H kicked off the night with a video package and a small greeting, the show went underway.

The first man we saw come down the ramp on RAW Netflix was the Director of the TKO (WWE) board, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. He welcomed and heated up the crowds in his signature fashion. He then said that he would keep his eye on Roman Reigns vs Solo Sikoa in Tribal Combat for the Ula Fala.
Speaking of Tribal Combat, that was the first match of the night. In a typical Bloodline-type match, the two men went head to head for some time before interruptions. Specifically, Solo’s faction attacked Roman, who kicked out of a Jacob Fatu moonsault and a Sikoa Samoan Spike.
Sami Zayn and Jimmy Uso then came out to even the odds. When Kevin Owens ran in and attacked Reigns, WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes evened the numbers again. Roman Reigns ended up winning the match and was bestowed the Ula Fala by The Rock.
John Cena then made his way to the ring, highlighted how this was his final year in the WWE, and then announced that he would participate in the Men’s Royal Rumble.

The night was made more exciting by a thrilling contest between WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley for the title. At the end of a solid back-and-forth, Rhea ended up on top and regained the championship she technically never lost after WrestleMania 40.
The next match on the card was Jey Uso vs Drew McIntyre. Jey came down to the ring alongside one of the most famous hip-hop artists in the world, Travis Scott. At the end of this match, Drew had this thing won. But Uso reversed the Claymore attempt and caught McIntyre in a crucifix pin for the 1-2-3… However, it is clear that Drew McIntyre is not done with the Old Bloodline, and he is not done with Jey Uso.
Then, it was time for the main event. The highly anticipated match between CM Punk and Seth “Freakin” Rollins. The match immediately spilt out into the crowd before it was brought back into the ring. It was a great TV match between two all-time greats. While Rollins was on top for much of the match, Punk took advantage of his opponent’s knee troubles, targeting his joints.
In the end, the Second City Saint had to use two GTS to put The Revolutionary away as CM Punk came out on top in the main event of the first-ever RAW Netflix.
What can we expect for next week? First, Damien Priest will take on his former Judgment Day teammate Finn Balor in a street Fight. Also, Chad Gable will face a “mystery Luchador” next week, which is all but guaranteed to be the debuting Pentagon Jr.
