Tendulkar Wishes Kohli on the birth of His Son: On Tuesday, Indian superstar cricketer Virat Kohli and his actor wife Anushka Sharma announced the birth of their child.
The couple revealed that they welcomed their second child, a son, whom they named Akaay, last week, on February 15. They have been in London for the past few weeks, and Virat Kohli has taken a leave from the ongoing Test series against England to be with his wife.
Wishes poured in from all corners of social media for Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma after they announced the arrival of their son.

A special wish came from legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Like Kohli, Tendulkar, too, is a parent of a daughter and a son, named Sara and Arjun.
Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter to congratulate the couple and gave his best wishes to their newborn son.

“Congratulations to Virat and Anushka on the arrival of Akaay, a precious addition to your beautiful family! Just like his name lights up the room, may he fill your world with endless joy and laughter. Here’s to the adventures and memories you’ll cherish forever. Welcome to the world, little champ.”

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma got married in 2017, after dating for about three years. Akaay is their second child, after Vamika, who was born in January 2021. Then, Kohli had missed the last three Tests in the four-Test series in Australia, which India won under Ajinkya Rahane.
In 2020–21, Kohli had announced beforehand that Anushka was pregnant with their first child, and hence he would miss three Tests in Australia. This time, though, the couple kept it a secret and didn’t reveal it to the general public, with the BCCI citing Kohli’s leave for “personal reasons.”
Kohli is expected to make his comeback next month in the IPL 2024, which is likely to start on March 22.
India have done well to bounce back in the series despite the absence of Kohli and KL Rahul. After losing the first Test in Hyderabad, India stormed back with back-to-back wins in Vizag and Rajkot, taking a 2-1 lead in the series. The next two Tests will be played in Ranchi and Dharamsala.
