WWE’s Survivor Series is a Big Five premium live event, typically held in November around the Thanksgiving holiday. The first-ever Survivor Series was held in 1987. It was created by Vince McMahon to capitalize on the success of WrestleMania III and to compete with NWA/WCW’s Starrcade.

From 2022, the traditional elimination matches were replaced by the iconic WarGames Matches. After that, the event was renamed Survivor Series: WarGames. Men’s WarGames Match
The main event of this year’s Survivor Series will most likely be the Men’s WarGames match between the team of Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, & Jimmy Uso, and the team of Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, Bron Breakker, & Bronson Reed.
The entire storyline of this match has been that the Vision is trying to take over, and the babyface team is trying to stop them. During this feud, Brock Lesnar and Roman made their shocking returns, and both of them are now included in this match. This will be the first time that Brock Lesnar will enter a WarGames match.
Women’s WarGames Match
This year, the Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series 2025 will be between the team of Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, & AJ Lee and the team of Becky Lynch, Nia Jax, Lash Legend, Asuka & Kairi Sane.

Nikki Bella returned to the WWE and initially became an ally of Stephanie Vaquer, helping her to take on the Judgement Day members, Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez. However, in a shocking twist, Bella turned heel and attacked Vaquer, demanding a Women’s World Championship match at Survivor Series.
John Cena vs Dominik Mysterio
John Cena will wrestle his last match on a premium live event at Survivor Series 2025 against Dominik Mysterio. Cena won the Intercontinental Championship on Monday Night Raw by defeating Dominik Mysterio. However, on Cena’s last Raw, Mysterio challenged Cena to a one-on-one match at Survivor Series for an Intercontinental Championship rematch. Cena accepted this challenge, and we will officially see Cena wrestle on his last premium live event against Dominik Mysterio.
