Shakira Jibes At Pique New GF: Columbian star singer Shakira appears to have taken a jibe at his ex-husband and former Barcelona footballer Gerard Pique and his new girlfriend. Pique is currently dating Clara Chia Marti with who he had allegedly cheated on Shakira during their marriage.

In June 2022, Shakira and Piqué announced their separation in a joint statement to end their 11 years of relationship. In her recent performance during her ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour’, Shakira changed some lines of her famous track ‘Don’t Bother’. She changed “she’s got perfect friends” to “she shares your stupid friends”, referring to Pique’s friend. She went on to sing:
“She works for you for free, don’t make her lose her mind. She’s more than you deserve, and yet she’s still not better than me”.
Shakira didn’t stop there. She continued the jibe at the footballer for letting her down.
“I gave up everything I had for you and moved to a socialist country just to be with you. I filed my nails down so they wouldn’t hurt you. I lost weight, learned about football just so you’d stay, but you didn’t—and you won’t.”
