Sarfaraz Khan is an Indian international cricketer who plays Test cricket for India. He represents Mumbai in domestic cricket and the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League.
Sarfaraz made his IPL debut for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in 2015 and became the youngest player to feature in the league at 17 years and 177 days. In the following season, he was the only uncapped player to be retained by an IPL franchise.
He was part of the Indian Under-19 team that won the 2013–14 Under-19 Asia Cup and represented India in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 2014 and 2016.

Sarfaraz Khan was born and raised in Mumbai and grew up around Azad Maidan. His father, Naushad Khan, coached him from a very young age and even built a small synthetic pitch near their home so Sarfaraz could practice during the monsoon. His early years were almost entirely devoted to cricket, with long practice sessions and little downtime.
After breaking Sachin Tendulkar’s long-standing Harris Shield record with 439 runs in a school tournament at the age of 12, Sarfaraz gained widespread recognition. In addition to his early fame, he was subjected to pressure and controversy, including accusations of age fraud when he was a teenager, which had a profound impact on him and his family. He was later cleared by medical tests, but the time was mentally taxing.
