Sanju Samson to Miss RCB vs RR Match: Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson is ruled out of their next match against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The match is expected to take place on April 24 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Banglarore.
Samson was hurt and retired in RR’s match against Delhi Capitals. In the match, Samson, while chasing DC’s 188-run target, had felt pain in the rib area and eventually retired from the match while scoring 31 runs from 19 balls. Though Samson and Jaiswal gave the team an upper hand in the chase, the batters who came after that showcased a terrible performance to tie the game. This paved the way to the first super-over in IPL 2025, which RR ended up losing after a terrible managerial decision by Rahul Dravid and Co.
Sanju Samson to Miss RCB vs RR Match
Samson was expected to come for the last match when RR played against LSG, as the injury was seemingly not that serious. But the RR captain couldn’t play in the match that RR again lost in the final moment.
Now, the worst news hit the RR fans that their captain wouldn’t be playing in the high-profile match against Virat Kohli’s RCB.
By winning only 2 of the 8 games played, RR is in a precarious position and should win all of the remaining matches to think about the playoff qualification. With Samson being their best batter, his absence will be a huge miss for the team.
