Samit Dravid is the son of legendary Indian batter, captain, and head coach Rahul Dravid. Aged 18 at the time of writing, Samit is a pace-bowling all-rounder playing for Karnataka in domestic cricket.
The youngster represented the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) in the Cooch Behar Trophy, which is the red-ball U-19 tournament. Karnataka went on to win that competition in 2024, with Samit playing a big role in his side’s success.
Dravid Jr. also played in the Maraja T20 Trophy 2024, which is the domestic T20 tournament in the state of Karnataka. He played for the Mysuru Warriors in that tournament, the team that went on to win it all.
