Sachin Tendulkar Hits Spectacular Shots In IMLT20: Former Indian Cricket Team batter and legend Sachin Tendulkar winded back the clock as he displayed his brilliance while playing some beautiful shots in the most recent match of the International Masters League T20 2025.
IMLT20 is a legend’s T20 tournament made up of teams from six nations. Each team consists of legends and former players from each of those countries. For example, the Australia Masters Team will consist of former Australian Cricket Team players.
India Masters vs Australia Masters was the most recent match in the league and involved legends like Shane Watson, Sachin Tendulkar, and Irfan Pathan. The match, played at the BCA Stadium in Vadodara, saw the Indians win the toss and decide to bowl first.

This proved to be the wrong decision, as while the Indian Masters managed to dismiss Shaun Marsh early, in the fifth over, wicketkeeper Ben Dunk and captain Shane Watson scored fantastic centuries and took the Aussies to a monster total of 269/1 at the end of their 20-over inning.
In response, India kept losing wickets at regular intervals, with Naman Ojha, Saurabh Tiwary, and Irfan Pathan losing their wickets for cheap. In the first 10 overs, only one man kept the Indian Masters’ hopes alive. And who else would it be, the man who kept Indian hopes alive when he was on the crease for over 20 years, the Master Blaster, Sachin Tendulkar?
Tendulkar scored 64 runs in 33 deliveries before getting out in the 11th over. In his time on the pitch, he scored seven 4s and four 6s. These boundaries were some of the most aesthetically pleasing shots seen in recent memory. It almost felt like Sachin had not lost his touch despite having been retired from international cricket for over 11 years.

On just the second ball of his inning, the 51-year-old scored a classic cover drive and took the viewers back in time to his peak in the 90s and the 2000s. His six over the bowler’s head, a cracking cover drive in the fifth over, and the two sixes he hit while walking down the pitch were some of the highlights from this inning.
Despite Sachin Tendulkar’s brilliant display, India Masters collapsed and only managed to score 174 runs, losing the match by 95 runs. However, even after that loss, India is on the top of the International Masters League T20 points table with three wins, one loss, and six points in the league.
