Roman Reigns In Serious Trouble At The Rumble: Roman Reign will be defending his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the 2024 Royal Rumble in a historic fatal 4-way match. But another stipulation might be added to the bout that might spell disaster for the Head of the Table.
Reigns has now entered his fifth calendar year as the world champion. Winning the Universal Champion at Payback in August 2020, he then went on to win the WWE Championship in the main event of Night 2 of WrestleMania 38. Since then, he was the only Men’s World Champion in WWE until Seth Rollins won the World Heavyweight Championship at the 2023 Night of Champions.
Having been the champ for a whopping 1221 days at this point, Roman will defend his title in a fatal-4-way for the first time when he takes on AJ Styles, Randy Orton, and LA Knight at the Royal Rumble premier live event.

Roman Reigns In Serious Trouble At The Rumble
In the main event of Friday Night SmackDown: New Year’s Revolution on January 5, all three of those challengers took on each other in a triple-threat match to determine the challenger for Roman’s title. The match was then interrupted by Reigns, Solo Sikoa, and Jimmy Uso. The subsequent beatdown resulted in the SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis making a fatal-4-way match for the Royal Rumble.
But now, another unique stipulation might be added to the match. Generally, when interference is a big part of the storyline before the match, those who might interfere in the match are barred from ringside.
If that becomes true here, Nick Aldis might bar Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso, and the wise man Paul Heyman from the ringside in the fata-4-way at the Rumble.
If added, this stipulation will put Roman Reigns’ title reign in serious jeopardy. But let’s be honest, The Tribal Chief is not losing his title two months before WrestleMania 40.
With The Rock having called him out at Monday Night RAW: Day 1 on January 1st, and Cody Rhodes, who is yet to ‘finish his story’, Reigns will likely end his historic title reign against one of these two men at WrestleMania in Philadelphia in April.
