Rohit Sharma Wife Responds to MI Coach: Rohit Sharma’s wife, Ritika Sajdeh, may have dropped a bomb, as she commented under the video where Mumbai Indians coach Mark Boucher was explaining why there was a captaincy change in the Mumbai Indians ahead of the IPL 2024.
BACKGROUND
Recently, Rohit Sharma was shockingly removed from the captaincy by the Mumbai Indians as the franchise appointed Hardik Pandya at the wheel. This was perceived as disrespect to the Indian captain by fans across the country.
BUT WHY?
The decision came after India got knocked out of the ODI World Cup 2023 in the final, losing to Pat Cummins’ Australia. Many saw him as a captaincy failure on Rohit’s part, considering the squad is talent-stricken. Mumbai also couldn’t perform well in the last two IPL sessions. Though Rohit has had undeniable hands in MI’s IPL triumphs in the past, the club management decided it was time for new blood.

Mark Boucher was peaking on the Smash Sports podcast in a video that was released on Monday. The coach opined that the decision behind the captaincy change was to give Rohit more room to enjoy himself as a player by removing a huge burden from his shoulders. He also mentioned the incredible success Hardik Pandya had with the Gujarat Titans over a short period of time. Ritika didn’t take this quite well and dropped a bombshell in the comment section.
“So many things wrong with this”, said Ritika commenting on the video.
