On a dry track in Dubai, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first and immediately regretted the decision. In the very first over of the inning, Mohammed Shami dismissed Soumya Sarkar for a duck with a caught behind.
Then, in the very next over, Harshit Rana dismissed captain Najmul Hossain Shanto for a duck with a catch in the covers. The third wicket came in the seventh over by Shami as Mehidy Hasan Miraz was sent back to the pavilion.
Axar Patel was brought into the attack in the ninth over and immediately looked deadly. In the second ball of the over, he found the edge of Tanzid Hasan’s bat with the ball, which was then caught by wicketkeeper KL Rahul.
Then, on the third ball of the over, which was the very next delivery, veteran batter/keeper Mushfiqur Rahim looked to defend the ball the edged it himself, getting caught behind.

With two wickets in as many balls, Axar Patel was on a hat-trick with a fresh Jaker Ali on strike. There were two slips and a leg slip put in place
The lanky spinner bowled a great delivery that moved away from the left-hander. The batter found the thickest of edges and the ball flew and took a hop directly into the hands of Rohit Sharma at first slip, only for the Indian captain to drop the absolute peach of a catch.
The whole Indian Cricket Team looked stunned as Bangladesh was relieved. Even the commentary team was in absolute shock.
