RCB Reveal Their New Jersey For IPL 2025: Royal Challengers Bengaluru have revealed their jersey for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League, and they have reverted to their old colour scheme of red and black.
RCB hosted their annual ‘RCB Unbox’ event today at Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium. This is an interesting experience for the fans. Not only do they get to see stars from their favourite team live in living colour, but there are also practice sessions, fun events, musical performances, and much more.
Among the festivities is also the team jersey reveal, as whenever the players walk out on the stage in front of the fans, they don the jersey from the upcoming season of the IPL.
During the show, the franchise also reiterated that Rajat Patidar will captain the side in IPL 2025. There were several musical performances, including from rapper Hanumankind, and players like Patidar, Liam Livingstone, and Tim David participated in a six-hitting competition.
But the biggest news coming out of the event is certainly the jersey reveal. Last year, the team deviated a little from their colour scheme, going from red and black to red and dark blue. The design also shifted, going from a two-tone divide to more of a gradient design, with a standing lion, which is the team logo, as a centrepiece of the jersey.
This season, they have kept the design relatively the same as in the 2024 season, apart from the sponsorship changes. But the biggest change in the RCB match fit is the colour change, as the franchise has opted to swap out the blue and revert to black.

Speaking of Virat Kohli, he presented a commemorative piece to Rajat Patidar, passing the torch of team captaincy in spirit, seeing how the last time Kohli was the captain of the Royal Challengers was in 2021.
As for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, they will commence their IPL 2025 campaign in the inaugural match, as they will face the defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders on Saturday, March 22, in Kolkata’s Eden Gardens.
