RCB is one of the most popular IPL franchises despite never winning the tournament. In the last few years, the franchise has hosted an event ahead of the IPL season in Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Here, players get a chance to interact with the fans. It is also a big stage for the franchise to reveal their jersey in front of their fans.

This year’s “Unbox” event, which is set to take place today, March 19, will see players rock the team jersey for the 2024 season of the Indian Premier League.

But it seems that the team jerseys have already been leaked on social media before the start of the event.
In what looks like a backstage video before the start of the event, Virat Kolhi and captain Faf du Plessis can be seen wearing what is a brand-new design for the RCB jersey.
The old gradient design of the shirt is in what looks like a new color scheme for the team. The recognizable red is coupled with a shade of violet/blue.
There is already some social media discourse regarding the jersey. Some fans like the old design with a new color, while others are comparing it to the Delhi Capitals jersey from the 2020 season.
