Ravindra Jadeja Dedicated POTM Award To His Wife: Ravindra Jadeja might have won the Player of the Match award for India’s 3rd Test against England in his hometown of Rajkot, Gujarat, but for the past week, he has been in the news for not the best reasons. Now, the all-rounder has dedicated his POTM award to his wife Rivaba.
In the 3rd Test of the ongoing five-match series between India and England, the hosts thrashed the Three Lions by 434 runs. Jadeja played a major role in the win as he scored a century in India’s first innings, and then took a fifer in the last innings of the game.

After receiving the award for being the Player of the Match, which could have also gone to Yashasvi Jaiswal who scored a double-ton in India’s second innings, the Chennai Super Kings star had this to say –
“I would like to dedicate this POTM award to my wife. She’s working really hard behind me and supported me throughout.”
Before the start of the match on February 15th, Ravindra Jadeja’s father had accused his daughter-in-aw of taking his son away from his family. Ravindra’s father currently lives with his daughter, who was once part of the cricketer’s businesses outside the field.
Jadeja’s father claims that the situation was stable when the cricketer’s mother was alive. But after her passing, the situation spiralled. He claims that two years after Jaddu’s marriage, a rift between the family was formed.
The old man also claims that he currently lives off of his wife’s monthly pension and that his son and daughter-in-law have cut all ties with him.
On the other hand, Ravindra Jadeja has refuted all these claims. He claimed that there are two sides to this story, but he will not throw mud at his father’s name.
It should also be noted that Rivaba Jadeja is a sitting MLA for BJP in Gujarat. Rumours have propped up about how this can be a conspiracy to tarnish Rivaba’s name.
