Marcus Rashford Limps Off Field After Coventry Win: Manchester United star-striker Marcus Rashford might have suffered an injury during his side’s recent FA Cup semi-final win over Coventry City.
Man United took on Coventry in the FA Cup semi-final at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium. A 2-0 lead in the first half was extended to 3-0 in the 58th minute by Bruno Fernandes.
But then, the second-division side started an unlikely comeback. Ellis Simms scored the team’s first goal in the 71st minute, Callum O’Hare then made the score 3-2 in the 79th minute, and then American striker Haji Wright brought the scores level in the fifth minute of stoppage time.

No goals in extra time meant the game went to penalties. Luckily for the former Premier League champions, they won the shootout 4-2 to advance into the final. But it would not be an exaggeration to say that it was somewhat of a disappointing result for United despite the win.

And Man U’s woes might just have increased as the team’s striker Marcus Rashford appeared to have limped off the field as seen in a viral video on social media.
These did not look like the limps of a man who was tired after playing football for two hours, but someone who had been injured while doing so.
Manchester United is currently seventh in the Premier League, out of the Champions League and Europa League qualification spots. So a win in the FA Cup looks like United’s only path to European football next season, as the Cup winner automatically makes it to the Europa League group stage.
But that would not be easy, as league leaders Manchester City stand in the way of the Red Devils in the final of the FA Cup as the sky-blues defeated Chelsea 1-0 in the semis.
Marcus Rashford has plenty of time to heal before the FA Cup final, which is on May 28. But there are six Premier League games in between, and United will be looking to improve their position and finish sixth, which will take them to Europa League qualifiers.
