England’s Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford comments about where he would play in the coming season amid the transfer speculation that links him with Paris Saint-Germain.
Rashford Clears His Transfer Stance
In an interview with the Manchester United website, Rashford revealed where his heart lies. According to him, his childhood dream of playing for Manchester United has transformed into winning big trophies, including the Premier League and UEFA Champions League. The player is hopeful that it will happen someday.
“I think as you get older, your dreams change as well. So, you know, in the beginning, it was just about playing for Man United. And when you get there, it’s about winning. So I still have, you know, dreams of winning the big trophies, the Premier League and Champions League with Man United. So, you know, hopefully we can get that done.”
This statement again put the PSG’s expectation of signing the player into a dilemma. PSG are looking for an attacker who could replace Kylian Mbappe, who recently made a historic transfer to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Will Rashford Regain His Form?
Rashford, who had scored 30 goals in the season prior to the last, fumbled terribly in the last one. The English forward could only find the net 8 times which eventually led to his being excluded from the talent-rich England Euro 2024 squad.
