Premier League Highest Goal Scorers in 2023-24: Considered by many as the most competitive football league in the world, the English Premier League has been ruled over by Manchester City for the past three seasons. Despite one team’s dominance for such a prolonged period, the league does not lack competition, goals, and eye-watering plays from some of the best players in the world.
Today, we will be looking at who are the frontrunners in the highest goal scorer list in the Premier League for the 2023-24 season.

1) Erling Haaland – 11 Goals
The best player in the world at the moment (despite Lionel Messi winning the Ballon d’Or last night as he did that for his exploits the season before), Manchester City’s Erling Haaland is in a league of his own when it comes to strikers in world football.
In the Premier League, the Norwegian has scored 11 and assisted two goals in the 10 matches he has played so far. These include two goals in the Manchester Derby against United. Having won the Ferd Muller trophy for most goals in the previous season, Haaland is on the way to winning that trophy once more in 2023-24.
2) Heung Min Son – 8 Goals
In the absence of Harry Kane, who departed for Bayern Munich earlier this season, South Korean superstar Heung Min Son has taken up goal-scoring duties for Tottenham Hotspur. His exploits result in his club currently being on the top of the Premier League table.

Having already scored 8 goals and assisted 4 in the 10 matches he has played in the season, he will be desperate to be the anchor upon which The Reds will turn their season around.
4) Callum Wilson – 7 Goals
One of the faces of the new Newcastle United, Callum Wilson has been one of the top strikers in the league for the past years, despite entering his 30s.
While he scored 18 goals for Newcastle in the Premier League last season, Wilson looks to improve upon that tally as he has already scored 7 goals in 9 matches he has played this season.
4) Jarrod Bowen – 6 Goals
West Ham United’s right winger, Jarrod Bowen is in good form though the team is at the bottom side of the table.
The English international has scored 6 goals in the premier league this season. Going forward, the 26-year-old will be one of the trump cards for West Ham this season
5) Alexander Isak – 6 Goals
It is a testament to Newcastle United’s success that two of their players are in the top 5 goal scorers in the Premier League so far.
The Swede has been a major cog in the Newcastle United machine. He creates plays and scores goals, having already scored 6 in 8 matches he has played this season.
