PKL 2024 Semi-Final Winners: The semi-finals of the 2023/24 season of the Pro Kabaddi League are in the history books and we know which teams will compete in the final.
The semis were played on Wednesday, February 28, in Hyderabad’s Gachibowli Indoor Stadium.
PKL 2024 Semi-Final Winners
Semi-final 1 saw the winner of Eliminator 1 and three-time champions Patna Pirates take on the team that finished first in the league table Puneri Paltan.
Paltan took a massive lead in the first half and the Pirates were never to catch up score-wise. The final score showed how this match was a one-sided affair, especially the second half as the Pune-based franchise won 37-21.

The clear standout player for Pune was their captain and defensive sensation Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh, who reached a high-5 and scored five tackle points.
Semi-final 2 saw Jaipur Pink Panther, who went on the longest undefeated streak in PKL history this season, take on the winner of Eliminator 2 Haryana Steelers. Like semi-final 1, the Steelers took the lead in the first half and did not give it up, but there was a difference of single-digit points throughout.
While the Panthers played catchup for almost all of the match, they never scored enough points in a bunch that they could surpass the team from Haryana. The final score was 31-27 in a Steelers win as the defending champions were eliminated.
Arjun Deshwal, like most matches, was the star player for the Pink Panthers as he scored a whopping 14 points. However, he did not receive much support from his team. On the other hand, several Haryana Steelers players had good matches. While Vinay scored 11 raid points, Shivan Patare took 7. While Ashish had a fine match with 4 tackle points.
The final of the 10th season of the Pro Kabaddi League is now set. Puneri Paltan, which has been the best team in the tournament so far, will take on playoff underdogs Haryana Steelers.
While this will be the second consecutive visit to the final for the Paltan, the Steelers have reached this stage for the first time in their history. Haryana’s head coach Manpreet Singh has made it to the final twice with the Gujarat Giants but never did win the big one. He now has the chance to do what he has previously done as a player, win the PKL title.
