Owais Shah on Jasprit Bumrah: Former English cricketer Owais Shah showered Indian bowler Jasprit Bumrah with praise after the bowler showcased an incredible performance in the last Test match between India and England.
With the help of Bumrah’s brilliance, who won the Man of the Match award by clinching 9 wickets, India swept off England by 106 runs.
Owais Shah on Jasprit Bumrah: ‘World Class’
When he was asked about Jusprit Bumrah in a discussion on the Colors Cineplex, Owais Shah mentioned the various tools that Bumrah possesses that make him dangerous to batters.
“He swings the new ball away and moves the ball both ways with a reverse swing. If nothing is working, he deceives the batters with slower balls as well. He has picked up so many wickets thus far.
“You think India have world-class spinners, but remember they have a world-class fast bowler as well and his name is Jasprit Bumrah. We know that he has good numbers with the old ball, but still, it’s not easy to pick up wickets,” Shah added.
