Brazilian star Neymar Jr has been out of the playing field for a while due to a ligament injury that happened in October 2023. The magician is a player of Saudi Pro League champions Al-Hilal.
Neymar Teases Return On Instagram
Amid speculations of his return, the former Barcelona and PSG star teased the comeback with a post on Instagram. Neymar who shared a picture of him working out, wrote the caption as: “One more day of work, one less day of waiting.”
A couple of weeks ago, Brazilian club Flamingo’s president Rodolfo Landim had given a hint about Neymar’s return. He said the player will probably return by mid-September.
“I met him in the locker room and said that he thinks he’ll be back in full condition by mid-September.”
Many Brazilian fans want Neymar to end his career in Brazil at Flamingo. Even Neymar once expressed his desire to play for the Brazilian club.
“I’ve always said that I want to play for Flamengo, it’s obvious that it’s the second team in my heart because the first is Santos,” said Neymar
When asked about that, Landim’s answer was more realistic. He said that Neymar’s wage is
“Guys, Neymar earns more per month than two Flamengo salaries. People don’t realize the magnitude of things, the amounts involved. The unofficial information is that he earns 70 million per month. I think Neymar is absolutely outstanding, a top player in the world. We have to see how he recovers, but I think he’ll recover well because he’s a light player,” said Landim.
Neymar couldn’t be a part of the Copa America 2024 when Brazil got knocked out in the Quarterfinals by Uruguay in Penalties. Hopefully, the long wait of the fans to see the Samba star dancing on the field will end soon.
