Neymar Congratulates Vinicius for FIFA Best Award: Brazilian superstar Neymar sent a heartwarming message to his national team companion and Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr. for winning The Best FIFA Mens Player for 2024. Vinicius won the award on Tuesday by defeating the Ballon d’Or winner Rodri.

After Vinicius won the award, Neymar congratulated the player on Instagram by saying:
“Congrats Vini. Well-deserved. Very happy for you. Keep flying.”
Neymar was very vocal when Manchester City’s Rodri controversially won the 2024 Ballon d’Or, sending a dig at the Spaniard by tagging him as a ‘talker.’
Vinicius was expected to win the Ballon d’Or, but Rodri bagged the trophy, taking everyone by surprise. Real Madrid had boycotted the ceremony despite their manager Carlo Ancelotti winning the award for the Best Manager of the Year.
Vinicius was in incredible form in the 2023-24 season, helping Real Madrid win La Liga, the UEFA Champions League, and the Supercopa de Espana. The Brazilian sensation scored 26 goals and assisted 11 times. His most precise goal would be in the UCL final when Real Madrid beat Borussia Dortmund 2-0.
Apart from Vinicius winning, Carlo Ancelotti has been selected as the best manager in the FIFA Best Awards.
Vini and Co. will head to Qatar to face the Mexican club Pachuca in the Intercontinental Cup final, which will be taking place on Wednesday.
