In the chase, Netherlands lost opener Michael Levitt in the second over to Sompal Kami. O’Dowd and Vikamjit Singh then built a second-wicket stand of 40 runs in 43 balls. With a low target to chase, Netherlands could afford a partnership of this rate. It was broken by Dipendra Singh Airee.
